How do you make your own Dame Hombro AI Dance video?

  1. 1

Upload one photo of an adult with the face visible. Full or half body works best, because the dance shows your outfit from the knees up.

  2. 2

Pick 480p (100 credits) for a quick post, or 720p (200 credits) if you want your face sharper during the fast arm moves.

  3. 3

Press Generate, then download the 15-second MP4 with the Dame Hombro sound from My videos.

What does the Dame Hombro AI dance look like?

It is one continuous 15-second street clip. Three young dancers stand in a row in front of a closed metal roller shutter, with a grey tiled wall to one side and cobbled pavement underfoot. The one in the middle leads: fists tucked near the chest, shoulders popping up and down on every beat, small side steps, and a completely straight face. Halfway through, the phone camera drifts closer, the lead leans toward the lens and starts talking with his hands, and the clip ends with all three hitting the same arm moves in sync.

In the AI version, you take the middle spot. The dancer in the cream vest on one side and the one in the purple argyle vest on the other keep dancing next to you, the shutter and the light stay the same, and the original audio plays over the top. Only the lead changes.

Where does Dame Hombro come from?

"Dame Hombro" is a song by Dominican artist Bulin 47 and creator Kevin Wai, listed on streaming platforms with a release date of 7 October 2026 (Audiomack, Deezer). It grew out of a street freestyle filmed in Spain a few days earlier, the same moment behind our Bulin 47 effect. The freestyle is about the rapper and the hype; the song turned the hook into a dance.

The dance spread the way most shoulder dances do: groups of friends filming the bounce in the street, then everyone else remaking those clips. The three-dancer version in front of the shutter is one of the most copied, and it is the one this effect follows. The dancers in it are not connected to this site, and neither are the artists.

What did our own test run show?

We generated the example on this page ourselves, using the same setup the effect uses, before putting the effect live. The photo was an AI-generated portrait of a fictional adult woman in a red T-shirt, light-blue jeans and white sneakers, so no real person's face is used.

  • Identity held. In frames sampled at 0, 3, 6, 9, 12 and 15 seconds, her face, long dark hair and red-and-denim outfit stayed recognisable, including after the camera moves in.
  • The scene stayed. Both side dancers, their outfits, the shutter and the pavement were kept, and no extra people appeared.
  • The sound lines up. The finished track matched the original audio almost exactly at zero offset, so the shoulder pops land on the beat.
  • Length and time. The video came back at 15 seconds. The generation step took about three minutes, plus a short wait for the sound.
  • Where it slips. The fastest hand moves show motion blur, and no single test proves every frame is perfect. That is one run, not a reliability benchmark, so expect small differences in yours.

The example above is that run, resized to 480×640 for the page. Nothing else was edited.

Which photo works best for a dance video?

A clear photo from the knees up, or full body, works best. Unlike face-led effects, this dance shows your top, your jeans and your arms the whole time, so whatever is cut off in the photo has to be invented.

PhotoWhat usually happens
Full or half body, face visible, even lightBest match: face, hair and outfit stay consistent
Close-up selfieThe face is right, but the AI has to guess your body and clothes
Sunglasses, hat low over the eyesThe face is harder to keep through head movements
Group photoThe AI may pick the wrong person; crop to one
Loose coat or bag across the bodyArm moves can blend into it; simple clothes read better

Clothes matter more here than people expect. A plain T-shirt or a bright colour reads clearly next to the patterned vests of the side dancers. Your outfit replaces the yellow vest, so you don't need to dress like the original.

480p or 720p for Dame Hombro?

Both are 15 seconds. 480p costs 100 credits and is enough for a group chat or a quick story. 720p costs 200 credits and is worth it if you plan to post publicly. The dance is shot from a few metres away and the arms move fast, so the extra detail keeps your face sharper in the second half, when the camera comes closer.

How much does a Dame Hombro video cost?

One video is 100 credits at 480p or 200 at 720p. The $9.99 starter pack covers one 480p video. The $19.99 pack (220 credits) covers one 720p video. If you want to make one for each friend in your group, the $49.99 pack (600 credits) gives six 480p videos or three in 720p. Credits from packs never expire, and a confirmed failed generation returns its credits automatically.

How do you post it so it lands?

  • Use the original sound. The track is already in the file; keep it rather than adding another song, or the shoulder pops won't match the beat.
  • Hook in the first second. The lead is mid-bounce from frame one, so post without an intro card.
  • Caption idea: "Me when the dembow starts" or "They said I couldn't dance." Tag it #DameHombro so it shows up with the trend.
  • Make it a series. Do one for each friend and post them side by side; the identical backdrop makes the swap obvious and funny.
  • Label it. TikTok, YouTube and Instagram ask creators to label realistic AI video. Turn on the platform's AI label when you post.

What if the result looks off?

If your face drifts during the close-up, try a sharper photo with even front light. If the clothes change, use a photo where the whole outfit is visible and not covered by a bag or jacket. If the AI picks up someone else from the photo, crop to just you. If the generation fails, the credits come back automatically. If it finishes but looks wrong, contact support with the video link.

Frequently asked questions

What does "Dame Hombro" mean?

Roughly "give me shoulder" in Spanish: hombro means shoulder. In the song it works as a chant to move your shoulders to the beat, which is exactly what the dance does.

Is it "Dame Hombro" or "Dame Ombro"?

The song title is "Dame Hombro". "Dame Ombro" is a common spelling online, partly because ombro is the Portuguese word for shoulder. Both searches lead to the same trend.

Is this the same as the Bulin 47 effect?

No. The Bulin 47 effect recreates the original street freestyle, where you play the rapper getting hyped up. This one recreates the dance that came after: three dancers doing the shoulder bounce in front of a shutter, with you in the middle.

Who gets replaced in the video?

Only the lead dancer in the middle, who wears a pale yellow sweater vest over a white shirt and sunglasses in the original. The two dancers on either side and the street backdrop stay as they are.

Will I be wearing sunglasses like the original dancer?

Usually not. In our test the AI kept the face from the photo, so a photo without sunglasses came back without them. If you want the sunglasses look, upload a photo where you are wearing some.

Do I need to know the dance?

No. You only upload a photo. The steps, shoulder bounces and hand moves all come from the reference clip.

Can I use a photo of my pet or a cartoon character?

This effect is set up and tested for people. Pets and characters may come out, but we haven't tested them, so we don't promise a good result. For pets, try Day 1 of Owning a Roadster or Alors On Danse.

Why is the video 3:4 and not full-screen 9:16?

It follows the frame of the dance clip people are remaking, which is 3:4. On TikTok or Reels it shows with thin bars or a slight zoom; nothing important sits at the edges, so either looks fine.

Is there a free Dame Hombro AI generator here?

No. Watching the example is free, but each video runs on paid AI video models, so it uses credits. The cheapest option is 100 credits for a 480p video, which is the $9.99 pack. Confirmed failures are refunded automatically.

Can I use the video for a brand or an ad?

We don't recommend it. The song and the original dance clip belong to other people, so commercial use could infringe their rights. Personal posts are the usual use.

Inspired by the Dame Hombro shoulder-dance trend around the song by Bulin 47 and Kevin Wai. Not affiliated with the artists or the dancers in the original clip.
